Recycle Your Paper Products and More

Think about all the things that you use paper, glass and plastic products for. You use much more than you think. Using these products is also a lot more detrimental to the environment than you know.

What Happens to it All?

The good news is that a lot of those items are recyclable, and can be reused, turned into other products, and made into new consumer goods that can then be sold. Of course it’s not all good. A lot of it doesn’t even make it to the plants to be turned into something new. All that stuff you throw away ends up in a landfill somewhere.

It’s much more than just paper that can be recycled. Glass bottles, steel and aluminum cans, and a lot of plastics are items that a lot of people simply throw in the garbage. Even if it can be recycled, at that point it ends up in landfills, and while some paper products are biodegradable, the ones that are not will be here until the end of time.
