Recycling Program Helps Fund Mira Mesa Recreation Center Programs
The Mira Mesa Recreation Center, also known as the Gil Johnson Recreation Center, is located at 8575 New Salem Street in San Diego, California. The center provides a variety of activities and programs for residents young and old, which are partly funded by the Mira Mesa Recreation Center recycling program. The recycling drop-off sites give residents an opportunity to do something positive for the planet and to give back to the center, which uses recycling revenue to support activities provided at the facility.
When Recyclable Items Can Be Dropped Off
Containers for recycling can be used during daylight hours. At the Mira Mesa Recreation Center location, outside drop-off bins are available during this time. The recreation center itself is open from 12pm to 8pm on Mondays, 2pm to 9pm Tuesday through Thursday, 2pm to 7pm on Friday, 9am to 3pm on Saturday, and 10am to 2pm on Sunday.
